16/21 Days of Prayer

READ:

Ephesians 2:2-5 (NKJV)

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

Have you ever looked at old pictures of yourself? One of my favorite old pictures is of Crystal and I on the day we got married. We both have huge smiles on our faces! I love that picture for a lot of reasons, but one of the main reasons I love it is because it reminds us how far we have come and how much we have been through.

It’s good to look back every now and then to remind ourselves of how far we’ve come.

That’s what Paul is telling us in this scripture… that we should look back at who we were before Christ came into our life so we can see how far He has brought us!

PRAY:

Lord, I am so thankful that I’m not the person I used to be! Thank you for transforming me and making me a new creation In Christ Jesus. Thank you for giving me life and life more abundantly!
