14/21 Days of Prayer

READ:

1 Corinthians 1:27 (NIV)
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
Most of us have probably heard the story of David and Goliath. David was a teenage boy who decided to fight a 9-foot tall giant! There was nothing about David that said he was strong enough to take on this task. Everyone looked and saw a frail teenage boy, but David didn’t come at Goliath with his ability or in his strength. He came at Goliath in the name of His God! We often look at ourselves and think we don’t measure up to the task and the calling God has put on our lives. The truth is that in the natural, we don’t! But God is on our side. He fights for us!

He uses us not because we are good, but because He is good.

Stop disqualifying yourself and start letting God use you to do something great for Him.

PRAY:

Lord, help me to see the full potential I have in Jesus Christ. My temptation is to see myself according to my past and my shortcomings. I ask that You would help me to see myself through the promise of Your word. I know with Your grace and power I can overcome any weakness that has hindered me in the past. I turn to Your grace, and I ask You to release Your power in me so I can become the person You have created me to be. In Jesus name, Amen.
