20/21 Days of Prayer

READ:

HEBREWS 10:24-25 (NIV)

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

I love church! Not because I’m a pastor or because I was raised by a pastor. I love church because of the difference it’s made in my life. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt like the pastor is preaching right to me. I can’t tell you how many times in worship God has strengthened my faith and restored my hope.

There is something powerful about people coming together to lift up the name of Jesus that changes us for the better.

These days, coming together might just mean logging into facebook and watching live with fellow believers! We live in a society that never stops, so there’s something special about setting apart time just to get with other Christians to grow your faith. God wants to speak to you through His word. Plug in and stay planted and watch what God does in your life.

PRAY:

Jesus, thank you for giving me a church home. Thank you for encouraging, challenging me, and growing me through your word. Thank you for friends that encourage me in my journey of faith. Amen
