2/21 Days of Prayer

Philippians 1:19 (NLT)
For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
I love this passage of scripture because the Apostle Paul essentially says, “Your prayers are helping me, and your prayers will lead to my deliverance!” Most of us would say that prayer is powerful. We know that it brings us closer to God and it changes things in our lives.
But sometimes we forget that our prayers have the power to help others.
When we pray for our family and friends in the mighty name of Jesus, things begin to shift! Addictions are broken! Lives are changed! You might not see the difference right away but that doesn’t mean that God isn’t working on your behalf. He’s helping the people you are praying for even when you can’t see it. Keep standing; keep believing; and keep praying!
PRAY:
Take a few minutes to pray for your spouse, friend, boss, co-worker, or your neighbor. Ask God to move powerfully in their lives. Your prayers are making a bigger difference than you realize.
